The attraction of opposites... hurtling down the hills of San Francisco

0 – 5 | 2014 | Animation | Comedy | Love | USA

He’s a nerd, she’s an optimist. He’s sad, she’s cheerful. He collects misadventures, she lives adventure. They don’t know each other until the day their ordinary daily lives are messed up by a mad race through the streets of San Francisco.

Produced at Ringling College of Art and Design, Jinxy Jenkins, Lucky Lou is a short animated film created and directed by Michael Bidinger and Michelle Kwon. The work without a single line of dialogue, using only the power of images, captures an essential truth about relationships – sharing your life with someone is a bold and disruptive act.

Someone who changes your routine, your balance, someone who distorts the idea of ourselves. It’s love. If someone complements our strengths and compensates for our weaknesses, we’ll have found the right person as Jinxy Jenkins for Lucky Lou.
