An epic short for "Blackstar" the eponymous lead single of the music legend's 25th and last studio album.

Before dying, you’d better become immortal. At the age of 69 David Bowie dies after 18 months of battle against cancer, his musical heritage is inestimable. “★” (Blackstar), the lead single and title track of his latest album, is an epic 10-minute feat of jazz-tronica accompanied by a mindblowing short film directed by Johan Renck. A trippy watch with an hodgepodge of mysterious, often eery scenes, that include an astronaut stranded on an unknown planet, and headless human scarecrows. The last effort of an immaginable career between art and music.

Thank you Mr. Bowie for having inoculated such beauty in this world and made this life worth-living.
